Saakshi Medtech and Panels Ltd. was founded in 2001 by Mr Vijay Latkar a technocrat and a veteran General Electric employee who had held a variety of management positions during his tenure with the company.
Out of its 3 locations in Pune's Industrial Zone, SMPL operates in 3 different business verticals, namely the medical industry, electrical industry and mechanical industry.
